Directives

The Standing Committee on Ethics and Conflict of Interest for Senators may issue general direction to the Senate Ethics Officer on the interpretation, application and administration of the Code after consulting him.  However, the Committee cannot give directives to the SEO as they relate to an individual senator’s particular circumstances.  The Committee has given the following general directives to the SEO.

DIRECTIVE 2015-02 Rules of General Conduct (section 7.1)
DIRECTIVE 2024-01 Friendship Groups (section 5 and paragraphs 28(1)(c) and 31(1)(c))
