The Senate Ethics Officer announces that the anniversary date of senators’ appointments to the Senate is the date on which senators must file their confidential disclosure statement and their statement of compliance

The Senate Ethics Officer announces that he has established that, as of April 1, 2019, the date on which senators must file their confidential disclosure statement and their statement of compliance will be the anniversary date of their appointment to the Senate. This change has been made with the approval of the Standing Committee on Ethics and Conflict of Interest for Senators.

Senators will file their statements over the course of the year rather than all at the same time, which should result in a more efficient review of the statements. More details are available by clicking here.
